Kess Privacy Policy

Kess is a personal assistant app made by Kessway Technologies Inc.

What Kess collects

  • **Your conversations with Kess.** Messages you send are processed on our server and by Anthropic, our AI provider, to generate replies. We ask for your consent before any message leaves your device.
  • **Account connections you choose.** If you connect Google (email, calendar), social accounts, or other services, Kess stores the access tokens needed to act on your behalf. Kess only acts when you approve an action.
  • **A device identifier.** Kess uses an anonymous identifier to link your device to your data. Kess does not require an account and does not collect your name.

  • Kess does not sell your data.
  • Kess does not use your data to advertise to you.
  • Kess does not act on your accounts without your explicit approval.
  • Kess does not train AI models on your data.

    • Google user data

    If you connect your Google account, Kess uses the Gmail send permission to send emails you have written and approved, and the Calendar permission to read and manage your calendar at your request. Kess's use of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to provide the features you asked for, is never sold, and is never used for advertising.

    Storage and deletion

    Your data is stored on our servers in encrypted form. You can delete all your data at any time from the app's settings. Disconnecting a service removes its tokens from our servers.
